The Unlikely Legend of Rusty Pup: puzzle-platformer thrills on the way

If there is a project whose progress you should probably keep an eye on, it will have to be Chris Seavor’s forthcoming platformer. The latter has been named The Unlikely Legend of Rusty Pup, and from the details that we presently have, it seems that the title is being developed to serve multiple gaming platforms.

Do note that it is coming from a professional who used to work for one of the UK’s most renowned game-development company, Rare. It might also help to point out that Seavor invented Conker, and eventually contributed with the production of Conker's Bad Fur Day. The latter was a hit Nintendo 64 video game; it was released in March of 2001.

However, considering that it has been a while since we last saw something shiny coming from the above-mentioned organisation or from Seavor himself, it was indeed time to move things up. A steampunk contraption theme has been adopted and players will get to control a rusty dog as it goes on a pretty amazing adventure. The graphics, sounds and gameplay have all been strategically combined for an ultimate puzzle-platformer experience.

For now, ports for the iPad, WiiU, 3DS and steam can all be expected. However, no release dates are known yet; we do look forward to get more details in the days or weeks to come. The newly revealed trailer will nonetheless provide prospect users with a fair idea of what’s on the way. Do check it out soon and remember to keep an eye here or on the game’s official website for more details!
