The Escapists: available on mobile phones in 2017

by Hari.K

posted in game , Mobile , iOS , Platform

Mouldy Toof Studios along with the designer Chris Davis, developed this strategy game in 2015. Back then, The Escapists was released only for Microsoft Windows and Xbox. It was recently made available in App Store and Google Play in the beginning of 2017. It has a top-down perspective and is considered as a role-playing game. You will take the place of a prisoner and your objective is to escape from the secured building. A few items have to be acquired as well as some tools that will help you achieve your goal. What I find fascinating about this game is that you are able to do normal stuff that convicts do. Several prisons are available for the passionate The Escapists players.

Hollow Knight: platform game among the top in 2017

by Hari.K

posted in game , arcade , Platform , Hollow Knight

If you have not heard of that game yet, here it is. Hollow Knight was developed and published by Team Cherry in the early 2017. It will be available on Nintendo Switch next year. The team who worked on this project consisted of only two persons, namely Ari Gibson and William Pellen. They reside in South Australia and the mission that they put on this game is to make it an exciting world for you to be constantly amazed by the surroundings.

The game is in 2D and consists of different areas that you will have to explore. The music and the graphics merge so well that it provides a really nice experience when playing. I would suggest you to wear your headphones so as to put yourself in the character’s place. Hollow Knight is of Metroidvania style and therefore you will be battling other creatures in order to progress. Shopkeepers are there for you to purchase maps to get a better insight of your position in this world.

Hollow Knight: explore and battle

In terms of fighting, the Knight that you control has a nail as weapon. You will be able to upgrade it as you keep playing. Most of the areas have a boss that has to be defeated in order to proceed. Each enemy you beat drops Geo which is the currency of the game used to buy items from the shopkeepers. I would suggest you to visit the official website of Hollow Knight if you want more information.
